Barnes Commercial Insurance Broker was born from Lifesure. Founded by Colin Barnes back in 1971, Lifesure has since built a reputation for providing specialist insurance while putting care at the heart of the business. It was even named as one of the UK’s top 50 insurance brokers, according to Insurance Age. Sadly, in 2017, Colin passed away, leaving a remarkable legacy behind him. How long will my quotation take?

We aim to provide our quotations as soon as possible. However, the length of quotation will be dependent upon the makeup and complexity of your business and the type of insurance product and cover required.

What shall I do to make a claim?

In the event of a claim, please call the number on your policy documentation. If you have trouble finding this, please contact us and we’ll assist.

Yes, we use credit payment facility with Close Premium Finance. Please contact us for further information.

Can I arrange my cover in advance of the policy renewal date?

Yes, we will be happy to talk to you prior to your policy due date. Typically, most insurers can arrange cover up to 30 days before renewal.

How do I know I will be purchasing the correct cover?

Our Account Executives will guide you through the quotation process to make it easy for you. We will make recommendations on policies chosen from our panel of A-rated insurers to ensure you have selected the right cover.

How will I receive my documentation?

All documentation will be dealt with electronically.

What do I do if I need to make a change mid-way through the policy?

Simply give us a call or drop us an email and we will be happy to assist.

Will you only deal with businesses in your sector?
